The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bertha Hall can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Lisa Banks
Condolence: Hey Girl, I miss you like crazy, I just wanted to write a tribute to you because your the strongest woman I know which has made us all strong black women and I thank you for the tough love that you have shown me throughout the years. Mommy you have been my rock throughout my whole life and I pray to God that you are resting peacefully. I'm not mourning for you I'm mourning for us. We will all be at a loss without you. You have given us all a great example of what a Real Woman, Wife, and Mother is and we will follow your example to the letter. I also want you to know that I carry you with me in my heart always. Please tell my Grandpa that I love him also and that it's about time that his ladybug 🐞 has come home to be with him again. I also know that you are with God it was all in his plan. We love you and we will always make you proud. Love your first Granddaughter Lisa Banks

PS Kiss my Auntie Annie for me and also tell Mr. Dolphin that I'm good and that I love him very much!

Condolence From: Paula Chester
Condolence: Aunt Bertha, there is no amount of words that I can express that you were a strong black woman. Your wisdom, your laugh, your advice is stored closely to my heart. You took my mother under your wing and loved her whole-heartingly, you took myself and Marie and guided us when we needed it. You also would tell us where to go if we did not listen. Your doors was always open to get a good meal and for the family to bond together. I thank you for loving me. I thank you for talking to Tre-cat when I was ready to walk away from my situation. I thank you for always being in my corner. I never was homeless, hungry and never been without because of you leading the way and also making a way for me. The only good thing I see is now you will be with Uncle-Daddy John, Annie & Momma dear. Please give my mom & dad a big hug and tell them I miss them very much as well. Love always: Your niece & great nieces Paula, Makayla and Penni-Candy. You will be missed. 02/28/2018. P.S. I will miss hearing your voice when we come thru the front door "HEY GIRL" (there is only one Aunt Bertha better know as "T")
