Paul Lane Funeral Home Inc. was founded in 1954 by the late Paul P. Lane, Sr. (1922-1997) after his Honorable Discharge as a First Sergeant from the US Army. He attended the McAllisters Institute of Funeral Service and Embalming under the G.I. Bill. After graduation he obtained his New York State Funeral Directors License and the firm has been of service to the surrounding communities and people all over the world ever since. Once his sons, Paul P. Lane, Jr. and Milton W. Lane, were old enough they began helping their father. Both of them attended funeral school and are Licensed New York State Funeral Directors.
Paul P. Lane, Jr. stays involved in the community through his participation in the Greater Jamaica Civic Association, Inc. and performing End of Life Issues seminars at various churches and senior centers for those seeking information on this important subject.
Milton W. Lane is a member of the New York State Funeral Directors Association and enjoys serving on ad-hoc committees as needed while participating in events and discussion groups with that association.
