Church mother

Sister Mayers, Jenny, Church mother as she was so affectionately called will be missed by all the members of her home church Laventille Church of the Nazarene.   Although she worshipped in a palce that is considered by many to be an area to be afraid of, Sis Mayers considered it home.  She was truly a woman of worth and a Woman of God whose example was one to be emulated, she was very supportive of all the work being done in the community for lost sould in Jesus name.  Always had a kind and supportive word, and boy did she always have something to say.  She gave her all for the Lord, told her stories to all as her way of testifying of the goodness of God in her life, was always present at every function, walked many miles when we would go witnessing despite her being the oldest in the group.  She was truly an example of a disciple of Jesus Christ.  We wuld miss her dearly but we know that she is with her Saviour and desired nothing more.  A very simple loving woman content to be with the smallest of people and churches.  We say good bye Sis Mayers you have passed over to the land of the Living for 'to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"  Thank you for your support   from your Pastor, brothers and sisters at home.
