The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Agostus Hylton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The birth of our daughter Ciara Marie Hylton

It was a warm winter day for the month of January in the year of 1990. I was walking back and forth because the contractions were not enough to give birth to our daughter and I remember Tony was sitting in his parents basement watching sports and biting his nails because of him being so nervous

Everytime I went to the bathroom, he was there to make sure that I would not give birth in the toliet. But when the contractions was severe and Ciara was ready to face the world, Tony could not get on the phone fast enough to get an ambulance so I could have our daughter at Queens General Hospital.

Later on that evening, Ciara Marie Hylton was born and Tony Hylton Jr. became a very proud and happy parent. He told me that I had done good with giving him his first  and only child. That date was January 14,1990.
