The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Starks can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

To the Starks family: While I have never met Dorothy Starks, I have known her son Barry for many years. Barry is a good man... a family man. I believe that you can in part judge a person by how they are loved by their family and friends. Barry loved his mother very much and spent his time away from work caring for his beloved mother. Given Barry's pure love for his mother, I know that the world has suffered a loss with her passing. With that, my heart goes out to Barry and his family.
