The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cassandra Edwards can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Rene' Raeford
Condolence: My Dear Cousin "Cassie", my, my, my...we can never, ever predict life! In July of this year, we were at the High/Perry Family Reunion having a good time; laughing, joking, sipping on our favorite drinks and just savoring in the moments of being together. Throughout the years, you and Charlene were always the closest, same age too; such a special bond the two of you had. You were just "cool like that" with everyone you came in contact with. Remember when you met us on Jamaica Avenue when we were there on a "Red-Eye" trip to shop? Just as happy as you could be! To God be the Glory; that you knew that every moment of life was special when you were actually walking thru those special moments of memories. No one could have known that you would leave us so suddenly and so young; but your footsteps are planted here with us forever. May we all learn from the loss of my dear sweet cousin, Cassie, that life is fragile and not one day, not one hour, second nor minute should be taken for granted. Cassie, your story is a story of love for your family. Our hearts are broken & shattered, but we know you are resting in the loving arms of God. We can only imagine. Always, Rene' Raeford, Raleigh, NC. Oldest Daughter of Anne Perry Raeford Pearce, Zebulon, NC
